Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 24 September 2026
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This policy applies to everything you do with Webmiqo and to everything you publish through it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
We host websites for other people. That makes us a hosting service, and it comes with duties: to give people a way to report illegal content, to act on those reports, and to explain ourselves when we take something down. This policy is how we do that.
1. What you may not publish
You may not use Webmiqo to publish or distribute:
- content that is illegal where it is published, or that promotes illegal activity;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
- material that sexualises children, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- content that incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a group or a person;
- harassment of, or threats against, an identifiable person;
- deliberately false claims about your business — including qualifications, certifications, licences, accreditations, reviews or prices you do not actually offer;
- impersonation of another business or person;
- personal data of other people that you have no lawful basis to publish;
- malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive visitors into giving up credentials or money.
2. What you may not do with the platform
- attempt to access another customer's workspace, website, media or enquiries;
- probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission;
- circumvent limits, quotas, publication checks or the paywall;
- resell or sublicense the service without our agreement;
- use automated means to place unreasonable load on the service;
- use the AI features to generate content that breaches section 1.
3. Reporting content
If you believe a website hosted by Webmiqo contains illegal content or breaches this policy, tell us at hello@webmiqo.com.
Please include:
- the exact address of the content;
- an explanation of why you believe it is illegal or in breach, sufficiently substantiated;
- your name and email address, so that we can reach you — except where the report concerns child sexual abuse material or certain other offences against a person, where you may report anonymously;
- a statement that you believe your report to be accurate and complete in good faith.
We confirm receipt without undue delay, decide in a timely, diligent and non-arbitrary way, and tell you the outcome and how to challenge it. Where our decision involved automated means, we say so.
4. What we do when content breaches this policy
Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:
- ask you to fix it, with a deadline;
- restrict the visibility of specific content;
- unpublish the website;
- suspend or terminate the account.
Except where a breach is serious or we are legally obliged to act immediately, we contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right.
Whenever we restrict, unpublish or suspend, we give you a clear statement of reasons: what we acted on, why, the legal or contractual ground, whether automated means were involved, and how you can challenge the decision. You can respond to that statement by replying to it; we will review the decision and reverse it if it was wrong.
5. Orders from authorities
Where a competent authority orders us to act against illegal content or to provide information, we comply as required and inform the affected customer, unless the law forbids it.
6. Points of contact
- Reports and abuse: hello@webmiqo.com

7. Changes
We update this policy as the service and the law develop. The effective date above reflects the current version.
